Number Portability, Verizon Wireless, AT & T?
Hello. I have a given number 323-aaa-aaaa and my father has an account with 323-BBB-BBBB (both Verizon Wireless). My father's mobile contract ends in mid November 2008 mine (while ending in 2009). After the final, I intend my father use my cell phone (and the contract under my name ..). The reason is that I plan to switch to AT & T (iPhone), because it fits better in my daily use. The concern I have is that (1) I want my father to use the number 323-bbbb BBB-with my existing phone or contract, and (2) I want to continue to use my current phone number 323-aaa-aaaa with services from AT & T. I know that if my contract was about to be completed, then can simply go to AT Store & T and ask to transfer my current number to your service. But this is not the case, I'm a little confused about what I do. Any help / information will be much appreciated. Thank you.
