Is it against the law not to carry cash?
I read an article saying that Apple no longer accept cash as payment for half iPhone. I thought they were forced to accept cash as a payment type, since, technically, is true legal tender issued by the government.
Now you can set the payment standard, which can accept or reject any offer you want. If someone came into my shop wanting to buy an item with a $ 5 bill for $ 1000, I would certainly reject the offer, even if legal, may also decide not to accept 5, 10, 20, 50 or even 100 million bill. If I want then may choose to accept payment in the form of trade. There are many companies refuse to sell items at higher prices on a cash basis due to the amount of counterfeiting and the inability to keep the sale. There are no laws on payment methods, a company may accept or reject.
