I have a family plan so I've heard that can make the overally monthly cost less but I'm not positive. On my family plan, we have an unlimited texting plan already. Does that texting plan carry over if I get the Iphone? I also want internet use.

How can I fix my phone?

I have a white 16GB iPhone. Like everyone, I am impatient for the 3.0 software to be available. Yesterday I received a link to download the version 3.0 Beta. I tried to put it on my phone and now my phone is not restored. It remains locked on the logo Apple, or connect to iTunes screen. When I connect to iTunes I get an error message saying it can not synchronize the phone until it is restored. When attempting to restore I just get the Apple logo and nothing happens. They are the developers or someone knows how to fix this?

You can unlock the iPhone to work with any GSM carrier.

Unfortunately, Verizon is a CMDA carrier and therefore, is physically impossible for an iPhone to work with it (the receiver chip in the iPhone only picks up GSM radio as opposed to CMDA). Even hackers tried opening up the iPhone and putting a CMDA receiver from another phone in there...unfortunately, the receiver was too large.
