How do I put my photos on my computer from my iphone 3GS?

I connected my iPhone using the USB cable. Usually occurs in small window where you can click the folder and view photos and blahh or I'm off the track on your computer and click the little image of the iPhone, then go to the Pictures folder, then blahhh but none of them are coming! Help me please

Locate and select Download from the menu of the iPhone.
